Resource Centre
The Beauséjour Family Crisis Resource Center has been serving the community for over 20 years. We are a non-profit organization that provides support, counselling, hope and safe housing to women and children who are victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
We are located in Shediac, but see clients from all over including Greater Moncton, Sackville, Petitcodiac, Bouctouche, Richibucto and beyond. The Centre provides immediate services on a 24/7 basis to this large geographical region with a total population of over 250 000.
The Centre is currently working to expand its infrastructure to increase its capacity to offer a multitude of spaces and services to help individuals take back control of their lives with courage and determination. This facility will include recreational and educational shared spaces, therapeutic spaces, as well as collaborative rooms for various external service providers, as well as short and long-term housing suite options. Five years in the planning, this 19 000-square foot Centre will be centrally located on Calder street in downtown Shediac, New Brunswick. This facility will be the first of its kind to offer trauma-informed specialized counselling and supports in one location.
